My terra firma series is inspired by maps, both terrestrial and cosmic. Using vintage map pages from the 60’s I collage a base layer on which to paint. The maps are from around the globe and don’t feature any specific area. The geometric painting and gold leaf is meant to represent cosmic or celestial rays and orbs.

This piece comes ready to hang and is finished with a coat of polycrylic to ensure durability.
