My terra firma series is inspired by maps, both terrestrial and cosmic. Using layers of antique newspaper, paint, and found objects this piece is has many layers and rich textures. The inspiration for this series comes from Polynesian seafaring star chats and orrerys from antiquity.

This piece comes float framed, ready to hang and is finished with a coat of polycrylic to ensure durability.
